Thomas M. O’Leary
Lima February 13, 2023 at age 62. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Maureen (Cannan) O’Leary; children, Megan, Kevin (Ebru), Thomas, Shannon O’Leary; sisters, Patricia O’Leary (John Mastasio), Eileen Butler, Elizabeth (Tracy) Rollins; brothers, Dennis, James (Candy), Joseph (Leigh) O’Leary; grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Tom was a retired ironworker with Local #33 and a bus driver for Honeoye Falls Lima Schools.
Tom was a loving husband, father, grandpa and friend. He had a great sense of humor, was very quick witted, and was especially skilled with his play on words. He was an avid golfer and loved all sports. He was very gentle and loving with children and many who he coached or drove on the bus would run up to greet him when they saw him.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday, February 24, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the O’Connell - Dougherty Funeral Home, 2041 Lake Ave., Lima. His Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Rose Church, Lima. Interment at St. Paul of the Cross Cemetery, Honeoye Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lima Volunteer Ambulance – P.O. Box 355, Lima, NY 14485; Livingston Co. Hospice – 2 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, NY 14510; or Golisano Children’s Hospital – 300 River Road, P.O. 278996, Rochester, NY 14627.
