November 11, 2022 at age 76. She is survived by her children, Lori (Thomas) Pownall, Michael (Ruth) Rose, Jr.; sister, Barbara Jones; brother, Ralph (Sue) Frary; grandchildren, Max, Ali, Madison Pownall, MacKenzie, Hannah, Paige Stein, Gabriel, Grayson, Dwayne Rose; several nieces and nephews.
Ellen was predeceased by her husband, Michael E. Rose, Sr.; daughter, Shelly Stein; sister, Dorothy O’Connor, brother Stuart Crane.
Ellen was a well known bartender and server at the American Hotel and Brongo Bowl. She was a devoted mother and deeply loved her grandchildren and family.
Family and friends are invited to call Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 2 – 4, 7 -9 pm at the O’Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home 2041 Lake Ave., Lima where her Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10 am. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lima. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 10727 Rochester, NY 14610 in her memory.
