Lima - July 11, 2022 at age 78. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Carolyn R. (Woods) Swan; sister Clara Reminicky; several nieces and nephews; many friends.
Sam was predeceased by his daughter, Jayne Miner; sister Lil.
Sam was a retired teacher for BOCES Rush Henrietta School District. He worked there and retired after 25 years teaching Livestock courses. He also raised prime Angus Beef cattle on his farm which he took great pride in. He was an avid reader and loved to play Rummy - using his rules all the time.
Services and interment were held at the convenience of the family. Private interment. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Golisano Children's Hospital, 300 East River Road, PO Box 23029 Rochester, NY 14692-9804 in his memory.
