AVON - May 5, 2022 at age 94. He is survived by his loving children, Sally Ann (Duane) Warriner, Rev. Susan J. Clarke, Timothy J. (Eileen) Stanton; sister, Beverly East; brothers, John (Shirley), David (Patricia) Stanton; 12
grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary E. (Landon) Stanton; grandson Brian Zamaria; great grandson, Elijah Conroy; sisters, Elizabeth Pike, Helen Whipple; brothers, Robert, Bradley Stanton.
Dick was owner and operator of the Landon Agency for 35 years. He was a lifetime member of the Joseph Gallipeau American Legion Post #294 and Avon Rotary and received a Paul Harris Fellow in 1993. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11AM at the Avon United Methodist Church 130 Genesee Street, Avon. Interment East Avon Cemetery, Avon with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Livingston Co. Hospice 2 County Campus Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
