Vincent J. Orologio, Sr.

Avon - Bradenton, FL: April 20, 2022 at age 88. Vince is Survived by his children, Cindy (Norm) Carney, Vincent (Jill) Orologio Jr., Cathy (Joe) VanRemmen; daughter-in-Law, Loretta Orologio; step sons, John and Scott (Jill) Spezzano. 15 Beloved grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother Biaggio (Barb) Orologio; sisters, Angelina (Leo) Karr, Rose Marie (Felix) Natoli and many adored nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by the love of his life and wife, Sandra Orologio; son, Jack Orologio; brother, Giachinno Orologio.

Vince served active duty with the USAF during the Korean War. He then enthusiastically began his teaching career where he taught Social Studies for 30 years at York CSD. He was a member of the Teacher’s Association for the Local and National Chapters and a member of the America Legion in Arkport, NY. Vince was a Buffalo Bills enthusiast, he enjoyed his vegetable garden which became a great passion of his and thoroughly enjoyed entertaining family and friends at his home, often referred to as “Sandi Land” where all were welcome at any time! Vince liked to consider himself the King of the Grill! Most of all Vince was a proud family man, true gentleman and loyal friend to many.

His funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Agnes Church, Avon. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fremont, NY with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association PO Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692 in his memory.
