Avon – Highlands Ranch, CO June 16, 2020 at age 94. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Suzanne (Snyder) Connor; children, Margaret “Peggy” Dorosz (Len Wiederman) of Endicott, NY, Charles “Kip” Connor, III (Betsy Breen) of FL, Richard (Sharon) Connor of CO, Patricia Buursma of MI, Elizabeth (Thomas) Walbrun of CO, Bridget (Randy) Wulff of CA, Peter (Debbie) Connor of NY; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Charles L., Sr. and Anna (Dentlinger) Connor; sister, Rita Ann Talbot; brother, James W. Connor.
Charlie was a 1943 graduate of Avon High School, and a 1948 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He was a WW II Navy veteran. Member of the American Legion Post in CA and the Joseph Gallipeau American Legion Post # 294 Avon, NY. He was also a 4th degree member of the Knight of Columbus in both CO, and CA.
A Funeral Mass at St. Agnes and interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, with military honors will be held at a date to be announced in the Fall of 2020. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to St. Agnes School Foundation, 60 Park Place Avon, NY 14414.
