Obituary for Bruce B. McFadden
Avon - Bruce McFadden on April 13, 2020, unexpectedly at the age of 65.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 42 years, Terrie (Slocume), children Tracy (Stephanie) Decker of Avon, Chad (Brianne) McFadden of Victor, Krystal (Stephen) Vukosic of Avon, Alan (Heather) McFadden of N. Chili, and Travis (Stephanie) McFadden of Avon, grandchildren Kyler (Corey), Payton (Zach), Trey, Jayden, Allison, Mikayla, Dylan, Timothy, Katelynn, Landon, and soon to arrive great-grandchild Levi, brothers Michael (Eileen), Rick (Eileen), sisters Kathy (Pete), Trish (Mart), Meg (Matt), Heather (Bob), sister in law Sue, many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Chuck and Bea, and brothers Don and Charlie.
Those that knew Bruce knew him with a smile on his face and as being the life of the party. Throwing of rolls, mooning people and laughter was the norm at any gathering he was at. Bruce had an ability to make people feel welcomed and part of the family, even if he had only known you for minutes. His love for his grandchildren was apparent by the way he talked about them to anyone and everyone.
Bruce was a hard worker from a young age into retirement. He was a natural people person which made him the perfect "president" of the neighborhood watch, which was just him sitting on his porch, in his chair, and knowing the comings and goings of the street. He didn't brag about much, with the exception of how clean his vehicles were, even after he helped you clean yours. Boating became a later in life addiction to him and he always looked forward to getting out on the lake. He was always the first one in the water regardless of how cold it was.
Bruce's unexpected passing is felt by many people and to say he will be missed is a gross understatement.
