Dale was a great man with a huge heart. I admired his ability to fix and repair anything he touched and taught me so many things. Dale was my uncle but raised me as his son. I owe all the successes in my life to him and I will miss him terribly.

Growing up with Papp certainly gave us girls many fun adventures outside on the farm (he was always working on something!) along with several memorable laughs with (& sometimes at him) in the kitchen! So many funny times at their kitchen table as kids! He also taught all of us girls many lessons that money couldn’t buy- leading by example with many things from his honorable work ethic to how a man should treat a women.. he loves my grandma & never failed to show her! Their love hasn’t faded in over 49 years of marriage. Now, as an adult with a child of my own I see that being able to grow up looking up too Nonny & Papp was quite a privilege. Not just because every single Christmas Papp would play Santa or we’d get to do fun things but because of the life lessons it taught & the values it instilled in me. His tough love held me to a higher standard to reach for so we wouldn’t settle for less than we deserve. I’ll always appreciate & love him for all he has done for our family. Love you, Papp ❤️

We are so sorry for your loss, Nancy. We had a lot of good times together. Dale always had a song to sing and he remembered all the words! He could get a very mischievous grin on his face when he was doing something he shouldn't. We will miss our brother-in-law very much.
