AVON, NY - PHILADELPHIA, PA - Died of natural causes on July 1, 2019 at the age of 35. He is survived by his cherished partner Jessica Wilson, by his loving parents Dennis & Lorrie Jo Turner, sister Emily (Patrick) Kaczmarczyk all of Avon; brother Matthew (Stephanie) Turner of NC; Aunt Karen (Rich) Bertrand; Uncles Rob (Grace) Turner, Todd Halwick; many relatives and friends.
Jonathan has worked for Zumiez for 15 years and was the Sr. District Manager in the Eastern Region. He was a leader and mentor amongst his peers and had a significant influence on the company’s culture. In 2018 he was the Eastern Region DM of the year and in 2019 he was voted the Northeast Division DM of the Year. Jonathan lived life on his terms and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a self-taught musician and played for several different bands throughout the years. He loved spending time with his cherished partner Jessica, family, friends, snowboarding and attending sporting events. GO BILLS.
A Celebration of Jonathan’s life will be held Saturday, July 13th at 11 am at the Avon Inn, 55 East Main Street, Avon. Private interment at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jonathan Turner Scholarship Fund @ Bank of Castile, 263 E Main St, Avon, NY 14414. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Avon.
