AVON – LIMA - Went to be with the Lord January 26, 2019 at age 81. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Rev. Gerald F. Wright, Jr. of Lima; children Denise (Bruce) Campbell, Dale (Meg) Wright both of Houghton, Darci (Duane) Dembroski of Avon; sister Ruth Hanville; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Keith and Clifford Rounds. Jan will be remembered for her sweet, patient spirit and her servant’s heart. Janice was an active member of the Avon Wesleyan Church.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday 7 – 9 pm and Saturday 10 AM – Noon at the Avon Wesleyan Church 300 Genesee Street, Avon where her Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 2 PM. Private interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Houghton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Avon Wesleyan Church Mission Fund, 300 Genesee Street, Avon, NY 14414 or Chambers Camp 114 Camp Ground Road, Beaver Dams, NY 14812.
