Lanphere, Lawrence W. “Larry”
Raleigh, NC: After a long struggle, devoted husband, beloved father and “Pop-Pop” passed peacefully on September 25, 2017. He was predeceased by his loving wife Joan, his parents Leslie and Eloise Lanphere and his siblings Janice Lanphere, Ken (Lois) Lanphere and Myrna (Don) Nickler. He leaves behind children Jim Lamphere, John and Sue Lanphere, Laurie Spahalski, and Susan and John Dolan; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Jack (Gayle) Brooks; his surviving siblings Jerry Lanphere, Claude Lanphere and Dawn (Al) Spencer; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at St. Rose Cemetery, 7601 Evergreen St., Lima, NY 14485 on Tuesday October 3 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Transitions LifeCare at 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
