Hanna, Dawn G. (Gallagher)
Avon: August 18, 2016. Predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Gallagher; her brother, Donald “Bud” Gallagher. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, John David Hanna; son, Duane Hanna; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Mark Fortner; 4 grandchildren, Michael Hanna, Heather (Richard) Burley, Bridgette and Brett Fortner; 5 great-grandchildren; aunt, Shirley Burdick; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dawn was a member of the Red Hat Society, Eastern Star, and the East Avon Ladies Auxiliary.She enjoyed baking, reading, crocheting and western square dancing.
Friends may call Sunday 4-7PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 350 Genesee St. Avon. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday 10AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Avon, 5605 East Avon Lima Rd., Avon, 14414. Interment East Avon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 3300 Monroe Ave. #319, Rochester, NY 14618, The Livingston County for Nursing and Rehabilitation, 11 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, NY 14510 or First Presbyterian Church of Avon.
